Home Healthcare Services

The Salesforce Health Association provides home healthcare services to support the in-home care of patients, such as individuals who are elderly and bed-ridden or children suffering from intractable diseases. Individuals receiving long-term care other than those determined to need assistance or long-term care provided by long-term care insurance (with exceptions) receive benefits as a person eligible for health insurance from the Salesforce Health Association for home healthcare service costs.

Visiting Nursing System

Individuals who have a stable condition for which a physician has designated a need for in-home support or assistance from a nurse or other medical professional receive home healthcare or long-term care services from a nurse from the Visiting Nursing Station or another medical professional.

Home Healthcare Service Expenses

Insured persons receive benefits for 70% of the costs incurred (80% for standard elderly beneficiaries) for in-home medical care by a doctor, a visiting nurse from a designated company providing home healthcare services as home-visit nursing care service expenses (family dependent home-visit nursing care expenses).
However, insured persons are responsible for paying travel expenses, holiday visits, and any other extraordinary charges for nurses or other medical professionals.

Individuals over age 40 who are not persons requiring assistance or long-term care
*Individuals who cannot use long-term care insurance or who have a specified disease can use health insurance. However, health insurance cannot be combined with long-term care insurance.
Payment amount 70%
*The percentage of benefits differs according to age and condition. Moreover, this excludes extraordinary charges.
Additional benefits from the Salesforce Health Association Payment of an amount calculated by deducting 20,000 yen from the out-of-pocket amount (amounts less than 1,000 yen will not be paid; amounts less than 100 yen are rounded down)
